Big Sister!

We are so excited to announce that Addaly is going to be a big sister to a little brother and sister! We found out last Thursday and couldn't be more excited! Addaly was right the whole time! From the very beginning of my pregnancy she knew she was going to have a brother and a sister! We would tease her saying that she was going to have 2 sisters or 2 brothers, and she never caved!
We had a little get together with our family and friends to announce the fabulous news! I made a little shirt for Addaly that said big sister on the front, and baby brother & baby sister on the back. She wore a little cardigan over her shirt and as soon as everybody got here she took it off to reveal the news! It was a fun night and were so thankful for everybody that came, seeing that it was just a couple of days before Christmas! (the stupid cameras batteries died, hence the reason for no pics!)
So baby A is a boy and baby B is a girl! Everything is going good and the babies are measuring where they are supposed to. We now will go into the doctor every 2 weeks for the rest of the pregnancy. Which I don't have a problem with! We'll get to see these sweet little babies and hear their little heart beats!

3 to 5 In 9 months!

So it has finally happened! We are preggers with these 2 little guys and due June 13, 2011! It has not been an easy road getting here, but we are so grateful, excited and still trying to grasp the fact we will have 3 kids!
This pregnancy has been so different then my first one so far. I have been nauseated 24/7 and have absolutely been exhausted! We had a little scare this week and weren't sure that the babies would still be there! I woke up early on Tuesday morning with blood everywhere! Doug rushed me to the ER where they checked everything out. They did my physical exam and then sent us down to ultrasound. We thought we were going to hear bad news. I think the ultra sound tech even thought so because she asked if I wanted her to turn the monitor away. She started the ultrasound and almost instantly I saw our two little babies moving around like crazy and could see their little hearts beating! I don't think there has been a time when I have ever been so thankful! After the ultrasound we met with the doctor again who told us this could be the beginning of a miscarriage or it would resolve it's self and we could continue on with a healthy pregnancy. I was sent home on strict bed rest and to follow up with my doctor on Friday. Those next 3 days were emotionally exhausting! Not knowing what was going to happen! I went to my appointment on Friday and saw our 2 little babies again, moving around with fluttering little heart beats! My doctor said we were in the clear. That the clot had pretty much resolved itself and the babies will be fine! Phew it was such a relief! I am not on strict bed rest anymore, but am having to take it easy! I've had such a great support system and my family has been awesome taking care of me, and helping with Addaly!
So with that little scare out of the way and almost hitting my 12th week I'm feeling a little more at ease! Addaly is so excited and is convinced one is a boy and the other a girl! I think she may be right! She asked me the other day "are the babies going to get so big they pop out?!" Oh that girl seriously cracks me up! She is going to be the best big sister and little mother!

Happy Halloween!

(Addaly with her little friends at her school parade!)

(This it what happens when a chicken tries to play the donut on a string game!)
(Addaly and Ace-e Freely AKA Andrew)
(Pulling her loot home!)

(Trick or treat!)

Halloween this year was a blast! It is my absolute favorite holiday! Although I was a little bummed that Doug and I didn't dress up this year! I had all of our stuff for our costumes, but could only get around to making Addaly's! Addaly's chicken costume turned out pretty awesome! I was a little worried she wouldn't want to wear it because just about every little girl she saw was a princess! She was pumped about it! We put it on and she would just start clucking! She was able to wear it a couple of times. She attended a few parties, her school parade and of course trick or treating! She was so funny trick or treating, every time she would hit a house she would think she needed to empty her bucket in the wagon. So each house she went to she had nothing in her bucket! Which I think she really knew what she was doing! Everybody felt bad for her thinking she didn't have any candy and would give her handfuls! We only hit a few houses, but because of her smart thinking it looked like she hit a ton of neighborhoods! She had a blast and is really excited for going again next year!

The Dually-ett!

So this lovely truck belongs to my Dad, and it happens to be sitting in my drive way right now! I know that everyone is so jealous about this lovely beauty! We are getting ready to move so we borrowed this from my dad to make a few trips to the DI and to the dump, and I wish we could just leave it there! Doug loves to borrow this truck anytime he can! I swear the hill-billy comes out in him! He rolls up his sleeves, rolls down the window and will honk and wave at anyone! Well apparently this has carried down to Addaly! She wanted to ride home with Doug. The 10 minute ride wasn't long enough for her, so we dropped my car off and went on another 20 minute ride! Addaly was smiling from ear to ear and said "the dually-ette is the best car ever!"

One Nation Under God, Indivisble

My Mom and I were driving on the freeway, looked up and noticed this adorable picture of Addaly and Andrew! We knew that they were going to put this up, but just not sure when it was going to be put up! I will say that I did get a little teary eyed! I'm a very patriotic person anyways! Then to see these adorable kids looking up at the huge flag was amazing! So if your driving on I-15 and 90th you'll be able to see this awesome picture!

IVF Cycle #2

So the meds are here and the appointments have started! Hopefully this time it is successful! I started the meds on Saturday and am feeling ok. Just a little tired, I don't think I've been to moody! (You would have to ask Doug!) I go in again Thursday, and I think they'll do the egg retrieval by mid next week! So wish me luck that I can handle a few more pokes and prods, that Doug can survive my hormonal ups and downs and we have a successful pregnancy!

What a little stink!

We had Addaly's 3 year pictures taken. My cousin's husband Landon took them and did a fabulous job! Especially with Addaly being such a little stink! I love love how they turned out! They show her personality so well! Thanks so much Landon and Holly for putting up with the little diva! They turned out fabulous!

Preschool

Addaly started preschool this last week! She loves it! We have been talking about her going all summer long. She has been going through this really shy faze lately (Mine and Doug's child, amazing I know!) She covers her face every time someone she doesn't know talks to her. Because if she can't see you, you can't see her! So we've been talking about it getting her ready, and prepared that I wouldn't be staying with her. The first morning of school she was so excited she was asking me every five minutes if it was time to go! I tried to getting a couple pictures of her and she didn't have the time! We pulled up to the school, I got her out of the car seat and she says it's OK , you can go home!" She thought that she was so big and didn't need my help walking into school! I was so glad that she wasn't scared to go and that she had a lot of confidence. I was just tearing up because my baby is growing up and is big enough for preschool! When I picked her up she was so excited to share with me what they learned! The first thing she said to me was "we learned a lot of fun things Mom, but I don't like apple sauce! I was the only kid who didn't eat my apple sauce!" That kid is a total crack up! The second day she went to school I went to pick her up, she didn't want to leave.(along with a couple other kids) She told her teacher I don't want to go home, I don't like my Mom. WHAT?? I'm glad she likes school, but I couldn't' t believe she said that! What a little turd! I am glad she is liking school and is learning lots of fun things!

A new girl!

(finally falling asleep after a long day!)
(Versaid starting to work!)

(just checked in)

(Ok so not so flattering pic of me and doesn't really do justice for how hilarious she was being!)

Addaly's procedure went fabulous! It was quick and painless! After we got to the surgical center and got checked in is when the fun began! They gave her some versaid so she wasn't so nervous! That was some crazy stuff! She was acting so crazy, Doug and I laughed so hard we were crying! She kept laughing hysterically, tried to grab stuff out of the air that wasn't there, and tried to talk but was slurring her words so bad we couldn't understand her at all! I'm sure the surgical staff thought we were a little immature laughing so hard, but it was hilarious! The actual procedure was done in about 25 minutes. Doug and I were sitting in the waiting room and we heard a loud scream. We looked at each other and figured it wasn't our little Doodle Bug. They had told us earlier that she would be back for at least an hour and a half. They would give her time to wake up out of the anesthesia, but that wasn't the case with out little girl! The screaming was in fact Addaly. She skipped all of the stages of waking up from anesthesia and was really irritable and screaming! The whole ride home she was an unhappy camper and in a really sad quivering voice asked "why did they have to put tubes in my ears?!" The tubes haven't bothered her one bit! She is just so tender hearted that it hurt her feelings! She took a little nap and has been back to her normal self! The dr. told us she would be a new girl! No more ear infections! Which makes for a happy little girl and happy parents!

It's about time!

I normally wouldn't be happy about an elective surgery, but in this case I am! My poor Addaly Doodle had suffered from ear infections in what seems like forever! This year has been especially worse. She has had one at least every other month or even 2 in one month! We go through the same routine every time she gets one. There's never really a fever and she'll play pretty good all day, It's the night time that's the worst! She wakes up in the middle of the night and can't sleep! She insists on coming up stairs to watch a movie. The good thing I guess is that now she's old enough to tell me that her ears hurt. So were able to give her motrin and the amazing ear drops! She goes in tomorrow to have tubes put in her ears. Although I'm happy that she will not have to suffer from ear infections anymore, I am a little nervous for the whole process! The procedure its self is doesn't take anytime and it won't be painful to her. It's the putting to sleep thing that has me nervous! I have never felt good about being put out. It took me 5 years to get my wisdom teeth out for that very reason. I know that she is in fabulous hands and they will take such good care of my doodles. I am so thankful that Addaly is a healthy kid and has never had any serious health problems. Good luck Doodle Bug! We love you tons! You will do fabulous!

What a fun filled weekend!

(Isabel, Abi & Hannah)

(Love this outfit. I'm thinking of getting me one!)

(Cute kids Addy, Marley & Kaylee)

(Clementine anyone?)

(pooped after a fun long day at "Nagoon")

This last weekend Addaly and I had a blast! Thanks to our fabulous family and friends! (Doug had his own fun going to the Salt Flats with my Dad and brothers) We went to the county fair on Saturday. The kids loved it! There was a petting zoo with all sorts of animals. There was a camel, bunnies, tons of goats, pony, donkey, turtle and I'm sure a few others. The kids were able to feed them carrots. The poor little kids found out the hard way that they had to hold their cups up! The goats would jump up on them and take their whole cup of carrots!
On Sunday we went to "Naggon" as Addaly calls it. Every time the commercial comes on for Lagoon she says " we want to go there huh?!" Since the boys were all out of town and Aubrey got us discount tickets it was the perfect time to go! She pretty much loved all of the rides, except the tilt o whirl. She said that one made her "bizzy"! She had a blast running riding the rides and running around with all of the kids!
Thanks to our fabulous friends. This weekend was a blast!
