Happy Easter!

Easter was so much fun especially since Addy understood what was going on. She loved every second of it! Our holiday festivities started off with Doug and I coloring eggs with Addy. She was so much fun to watch, our eggs turned out so lovely. They were all different shades of brown and most of them cracked.
We woke up early Saturday morning to go to the SoJo Easter egg hunt. Great idea, but don't show up early and let your 2 year old play at the park first!! (her favorite place to be!) She did not want to leave the slides and swings to go hunt for egg-ies! Addy liked seeing the Easter Bunny at the park.... only from a distance!
Easter morning was busy, but so fun! We woke Addaly up early to have a scavenger hunt that the Easter bunny had left for her. She had a blast! She got all sorts of fun prizes. (that Easter Bunny sure loved the dollar store!) We had breakfast with Grammie, Pa, Kam and Keegie. Then off to Chrama Jackie's to have a yummy dinner! Chrama Jackie, Dirk and Trent had set up a fun easter egg hunt in the back yard. Addy had well over 50 eggs and still wanted to find more!
The weekend was filled with lots of fun and family!

Big Girl Ponies!

Ok so Addy's hair is finally growing and is long enough for "big girl" ponies!!! I know that it doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but we are finally out of the mullet stage!!! I am so excited but a little sad at the same time. As I am looking at the pictures with her ponies I am realizing she is definitely not a baby anymore. She is a TODDLER! She is smart and is learning so many new things! She is talking in full sentences now and really loves the word NO.

Sun?

Nothing to much is going on in the Anderson household, other then having some serious cabin fever! I can't wait till it is at least 70 degrees for weeks in a row!!! Addaly and I are dying to get out and play in the sun! We have taken advantage of the few nice days we have had. We have gone to the zoo, wheeler farm and the park. Addaly has loved every minute of it!

These are the most recent pictures of Addaly. I kind of waited too long to get her 18 month pics done. Rachel and I took the girlies to Gardner Village and Wheeler Farm and got some great pictures!!! Rachel did the best job of capturing the cutest moments.

26!

So this years Birthday was fabulous! I was a little weary about turning 26( because it is so close to thirty and that is when the Mom jeans and flat butt comes out!!) But thanks to my friends for assuring me that 30 is like the new 20 I am feeling a little better ( thanks Chels!). I decided to embrace it and to have a little change! For anybody who really knows me, that usually starts with changing my hair. So thanks to my wonderful friend and hairstylist Callie I got a new hair-do!
I had a great day that started out with Doug waking me up and telling me how much he loved me. Rach took me out for a great lunch and fun time with our girlies! To top it all off we went to dinner with my family! Oh and did the night end up fun! (you never knew how much one whole family could have with some protective glasses!) I think that we all came out looking a little "special"

I just love this girl!

So the other day Addaly found a headband and wanted to wear it. I couldn't help it but the Rocky theme song came to mind when she was walking around. NNNNNNAAAA-NNNNAAAAA-NNNNNAAAAAA- NA-NA-NA. I know corny! she is just so stinking cute!

Shrekeee...

So I was shopping for refills for Addy's toothbrush when I came across this Shrekee (shrek) one. Shrek is her new favorite movie for the time being. Thanks goodness there are 3 different Shrek's or I think Doug and I would go insane!! Addaly loved it so much that she slept with it the first night we got it. We tried to slip it out of her hands several times, but she wasn't having it!
